- Identity Information: Full name, date of birth, PAN card number, Aadhaar number (for KYC verification as required under PMLA 2002)
- Contact Information: Mobile number, email address, residential address
- Financial Information: Bank account details, UPI ID, investment preferences and SIP amounts
- Documents: Identity proof, address proof, and photograph uploaded during KYC
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device identifiers (device ID, OS version, app version)
- IP address and approximate location (city/state level)
- App usage data (features accessed, screens viewed, time spent)
- Transaction logs (SIP creation, payment status, withdrawal history)
- Crash reports and diagnostic data
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- KYC verification data from UIDAI and NSDL/CDSL
- Payment confirmation data from UPI payment processors
- Credit bureau data (only if applicable for risk assessment)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your ApnaDhan account
- To complete KYC verification as mandated by SEBI and RBI regulations
- To execute your SIP investments and process UPI payments
- To send transaction confirmations, account statements, and alerts via SMS/email
- To provide customer support and respond to your queries
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or unauthorized transactions
- To comply with legal obligations including PMLA, Income Tax Act, and SEBI regulations
- To improve our app features and user experience
- To send you relevant product updates and financial wellness tips (you may opt out)
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
3.1 Regulatory and Legal Sharing
- SEBI-registered Registrar & Transfer Agents (RTAs) for mutual fund processing
- AMCs (Asset Management Companies) for fund investment
- CKYC Registry (Central KYC) as mandated by SEBI
- Tax authorities under Income Tax Act when required by law
- Law enforcement agencies upon valid legal request
3.2 Service Providers
- UPI payment gateways for processing transactions
- Cloud hosting providers (data stored within India)
- SMS and email delivery providers for notifications
- Analytics providers (anonymized, aggregated data only)
All third-party partners are bound by contractual data protection obligations and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on servers located within India, compliant with data localization norms

- Access to your financial data is restricted to authorized personnel only

6. Cookies and Tracking
Our mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use lightweight SDKs for crash reporting and analytics. These tools collect anonymized, aggregated data and do not track you across other apps or websites.
7. Children's Privacy
ApnaDhan is intended for users aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has used our service, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app notification or email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of ApnaDhan after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
