Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your investment history, statements, and portfolio data. Please ensure you have downloaded all necessary documents before proceeding.
Regulatory requirement: As per PMLA 2002 and SEBI regulations, certain KYC records and transaction data must be retained for a minimum of 5 years even after account deletion. This does not affect the deletion of your active account and non-mandatory data.
Please ensure the following before submitting a deletion request:
Make sure you are logged in with the account you wish to delete.
Tap the profile icon at the bottom-right, then tap the Settings gear icon.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and tap "Delete My Account".
Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to confirm your identity.
Review the summary of what will be deleted and what will be retained. Confirm by typing "DELETE" and submitting.
You will receive an SMS and email confirmation once your deletion request is processed (within 7 business days).

Retained data is stored securely with restricted access and is used solely for regulatory compliance. It will not be used for marketing or shared with non-regulatory third parties.
Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account cannot be reactivated. If you wish to use ApnaDhan in the future, you will need to register as a new user and complete the full KYC process again.
